After years of work leading up to one moment, the class of 2024 has finally made it to the end of a high school career. With the last week of school rolling by, seniors look back on everything that they have gone through while being at Nixa. Many students have been at Nixa since they were in pre-school.
“It’s going to be very hard to leave my friends that are younger than me, I’m not sure what I will do without seeing them every day.” Bella Quick (12) said.
Now as they are finishing the rest of the year off, the students of the class of 2024 begin to realize that they have finally made it to the end, and think about what the future holds for them.
Seniors such as Deja Martinez know exactly what they are wanting to do the next four years of their life.
“I’m so excited for the new opportunities I’m going to get in college.” Martinez (12) said. “I plan on going to Missouri State University and studying psychology.”
Graduation is at 1:30 May 19 at Great Southern Arena in Springfield.
