Four years in highschool can seem like a lot, but it goes by in a flash. This year is almost over. Going from a scared teen going into high school not knowing what to expect. Freshman year can be really scary to think about.
Ellie Davis is a freshman at Nixa High school said her transition was a good experience.
“ I was a little nervous going into high school because the change was so big. I loved high school there is a lot more freedom, you can have your phone more and the teacher gives you freedom in class” Davis said. “I like high school better because of new people and the freedom. I liked it a lot more than I expected to. I liked freshman year but I won’t really miss it because I am excited to be an upperclassman.”
A lot of people can have different opinions, opportunities, and experiences.
“I was nervous and in my opinion it was a big change from junior high,” freshman Nevaeh Williams said. “I do not think people should
be scared though because you get used to it easily. I think the high school is a lot better because the junior high has so many rules and in highschool you get more freedom and there are more people. I am a little nervous about sophomore year. I am scared of growing up. Overall this year was pretty good and I wouldn’t worry about it.”
