Summer is coming up and many students will start working jobs. Freshmen are old enough to get their first job and can join the workforce. Most places will only hire 15 or older, but there are some exceptions with 14-year-olds.
The most common jobs for teens are retail or food industries. One could work in a kitchen or work as a stocker for a local grocery store.
To work, there are a lot of steps in order to be counted as an employee and to be paid. One of the major things is to get a work permit. To get the permit papers, students can visit their school counselors.
