Believe it or not, I have actually heard a lot about Casey’s Donuts being decent. I myself have never had them, but I was definitely interested in trying them. We picked out the classic glazed with chocolate icing donut. It was a really nice surprise when the donut tasted good. I mean, it’s not like it was some gourmet experience, but that was top quality for a gas station donut. The only negative thing I would have to bring up is that the chocolate icing was very messy. I managed to somehow get it on my glasses, shirt and my friend, but that could have just been my clumsiness.

Since the place was a gas station, I kind of knew what to expect when it came to how the donuts would taste. Kaitlyn and I decided to try a normal glazed donut with chocolate frosting, since we didn’t want anything too sweet. For a gas station, it tasted good. It also had a lot of frosting, but it was a little messy. The environment at the place wasn’t terrible, and it was early in the morning, so there weren’t that many people at the time.

I think the first thing I noticed about the place was that it was all so tiny, and seemed to be a little bland with the decor. However, it did seem homey and calm. The person working there seemed nice and friendly too. Another good thing was that the menu had a wide variety of options, ranging from jelly filled donuts to breakfast sandwiches. The Boston cream donut Kaitlyn and I ordered for 89 cents tasted decent, but it was too sweet for me, and had way too much filling inside. This place would definitely be perfect for a quick breakfast.

I had never been there before. When Nadia had arrived, we noticed that there was little seating as well as only one person working there. There was also little decor to go along with the already quaint atmosphere. Luckily, there was a good variety of donuts to choose from. Not only that, but the prices were unbelievably cheap. Nadia and I chose the Boston cream donut, which has always been a favorite to me in the donut world. I personally thought it was decent, nothing extraordinary, but I didn’t think it was bad. This place would be good if you need a to-go breakfast before work or school since it’s so cheap and quick.
