Theater:
The new theatre performance “Singin’ in the Rain” will be on stage Nov. 15- 20.
“ ‘Singin’ in the Rain’ is based on two film stars — she’s in love with him, but he’s not in love with her,” NHS theater director Allison Fleetwood said. “The time [is set] when we transition from silent films to films with a recorded dialogue.”

Clubs

Girls After God’s Heart
Christian Girls get together to grow closer to God. They meet every Thursday at 7:00 a.m. in room 215.

Gay Straight Alliance
GSA meets every other Tuesday at 2:45 p.m. in room 324.

Future Business Leaders of America
FBLA is a way for students to get experience in business through academic competitions, leadership development and educational programs. The club meets on the first and the third Thursday of each month after school.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes
FCA is a way for athletes to come together and grow closer to their relationship with God. The club meets every Wednesday in the Choir room at 7:05 a.m.

 

Construction

Classes at NHS are moving to different areas of the school. They are being temporarily displaced during construction

“During the Fine Arts hall remodel, all of the fine arts will be moving to the third floor,”Activities Director Brandon Clark said. “Once the remodel is finished, we convert those into regular classrooms.”
