Today, we’ll be trying Italian restaurants
Speaker 2 (00:22):
Located in Springfield, Missouri. We go to Avanzare Italian Dining and Nicola’s Restaurante for the debate on which is a better place for a date night that makes you feel like you’re in Italy. First, we’ll travel to Nicolas, a 4.5 star rated dining experience where you can visit Monday through Saturday, four 30 to 9:00 PM This year we’ll be celebrating the 12th anniversary of its opening in 2013.
Speaker 1 (00:51):
That was delicious. Don’t you agree, Addison? Next, we’ll be heading over to Azar. This time, a 4.6 star rated restaurant where just recently there was a five course dinner event including a special guest from the winery. Did you know that the name SZA means to push forward? I didn’t, but it makes sense as it continues expanding its operations. Let’s go inside, get a taste. What was your favorite place to eat
Speaker 3 (01:24):
At out of the two restaurants and why? Restaurant was pretty dark. It was decorated nicely, but it was really hard to see and it was so dark. It actually made me feel a little bit sleepy. The second restaurant, Avanzare was brighter, there was more light, there was a livelier crowd. More tables had customers in them, and I just felt more comfortable overall in Avanzare’s booth than in the first location.
Speaker 4 (02:02):
I prefer Avanzare because the first place this spaghetti sauce was watery and the chicken was a little sour, and then Arvin, it was also brighter than the other place, and the food tasted better.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
Which place had better service?
Speaker 3 (02:27):
I think that both had equal service. I didn’t find one to be better than the other. I thought they both were very timely at seeding us, at taking our order, at preparing our food, and at bringing our check. I found both to be very similar.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
Overall, how would you rate your dining experience on a scale of one to 10 for both restaurants?
Speaker 3 (02:56):
The first restaurant, Nicola’s, I would rate an overall score of a six, and the second one I would give an eight.
Speaker 4 (03:07):
The first restaurant I would give a five, and the second restaurant I would give a 10.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
Let’s go through what our guest had to say. The best setting was Nicolas Best food was Avanzare. Best atmosphere was Avanzare. The best prices were Avanzare with the lowest price being $8. Best menu was Avanzare, which leads us to our obvious answer.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
After careful consideration and observation, we have come to the conclusion that Avanzare’s Italian dining is the better pick of the two.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
However, in the end, both spots bring something special to the table, no pun intended. That’s all for today’s episode on Restaurant Battles.
